Comments:
The solar cycle continues to improve and so does the fun factor. 10m was usable
from the midwest but mainly to SA, no EU yet. 15m was good but I couldn't
really establish a run with my meager antenna. I beat my personal best so I was
happy.
I wasn't sure how the Superbowl might affect activity in the last couple of
hours. I quit an hour and a half before the end when I hit 1000. I checked the
bands with an hour to go and a JA opening started on 15m. I was able to add
another 40K points to my score mainly because there was little competition. I
attribute that to Superbowl interest in the US.
