Comments:
I stumbled right out of the gate when my log started at SN34…
MY BAD. After hand sending the first 3 Qs I just opened a
new log. Those Qs are logged but I might have miscopied one SN.
Four band changes but the latest results didn’t highlight SO1R ops.
As usual, Fred NP2X jumped out to a big lead. He is a speed demon
and it takes me a few Qs to get into the Sprint rhythm. We were
tied by the time I worked him on 40 but I didn’t hear him on 80m.
Fred is leaving very early tmw so perhaps he pulled the plug.
I didn’t ask my neighbor to turn off his Solar Power Noise generator
so 80m was covered in Birdies but all I usually needed was the call
and SN. Some folks were pretty loud on 80m and I didn’t get beat out
when calling as much as is normal from down here.
I heard Kam TI5/N3KS but never worked him.
73,
Phil. K3 1.5 KW, Skyhawk @ 56’, XM240 @ 62’
80 m dipole one side 38’ the other 53’ since it runs between two
towers so it is about 43’ in the middle.
