Comments:
I'm putting this score towards the Carroll County Contesters Group in memory of
Clint, W3ARS, who passed away last week. He was a great ham radio enthusiast and
generous friend.
Part-time here, with many breaks. As others have said, condx ok on Friday, not
so much on Saturday. Had a decent EU sunrise run Friday night. On Saturday only
worked a few EU stations. Managed to work KH6 but missed out on KL7. I heard
some comments that some worked the KL7 at his sunset and sigs were incredibly
strong to the point they wondered was it really KL7. I saw him spotted but never
heard him. One time I did hear an N6 call him. Best DX worked was LU8DPM. I hear
Mario's beacon every major contest, usually with good sigs up here, but I think
this was only the second time we managed a contact. Thanks Mario.
K3-Alpha 91B-(lowly) 60ft high inverted-vee, rx antennas 300ft bev NE and S,
NCC-1 phased active rx verticals, elevated flag antennas W and NE
73 and thanks for the Q's
