Comments:
Operated from UCSB (W6RFU). 10 meters never opened. I made the decision to
take required time off starting at 0200z because 20 meters had nearly died and
40 meters wasn't very open yet. When I got back to it at 0330z 40 meters was
even worse. Between 40, 80, and 160 I only made another 13 contacts through the
end of
the contest. In hindsight, I should have just worked straight through to 0400z
and shaved off the last two hours. Last year I made over 150 contacts after
0200z. If I could combine the conditions between the two years, my score would
have been considerably better. It was another good learning experience.
