Completely unintentional operation! Was goofing around with the KX3 with the AX2
sitting on the kitchen table. Five watts, inside portable antenna, all on 20
meters. Had forgotten about the contest until I heard all the stations calling.
Figured I’d work one just to turn in a score. But like popcorn I couldn’t
work just one. I could have kept going but once I had ten in the log I decided
to bow out and let the real stations run. Thanks to all for the Qs and the
magic. Next time I’ll make plans and do it right!
