Comments:
This one got off to an incredibly slow start. I probably should have started on
80 meters, but weather in the area made 80 very noisy so it was 40 instead.
Although the band was OK to most parts of the country, I didn't get my first
answer to a CQ until more than 5 minutes after the start. I dialed the speed
back to 14 WPM from my usual 16 hoping to attract a few more callers. It took
about 15 minutes before the rate picked up to normal. See everyone next week and
hope for a bit better conditions.
