Who stole the sun spots just before the contest? Give them back now!
I worked mostly EU stns using Sporadic-E and Meteor Scatter. Not much DX stns in
the log – 4 AS, 6 AF, 28 SA and 1 Caribbean. Only 2 stns from State Sides
heard but not worked – KC1XX and WA1T. Both of them came via skewed path from
SA direction during Sunday afternoon grayline but their signals were barely
readable.
I was hoping a severe geomagnetic storm at the end of contest which could open
the Polar Path via Aurora-E propagation to the NA but it didn’t happen this
year.
Using FTdx5000 & OM2500A/1.5 kW and 3 x Hy-Gain TH7DX tribander stack at the
seaside location.
