I had to fit this contest in between child care for two young grandsons and a
number of other family duties.
Conditions were dead most of the time. Modest mid-morning openings both days.
The 3 hrs of reported op time does not include hours of random listening to a
dead band.
One thing I like about this contest is that I can call CQ with my 5 watts and
actually get an occasional reply. I had 5 stations answer my CQs in this contest
including one new multiplier (ID). As you can see, my expectations on 10 Meters
have dropped pretty low over the last few years!
It is still fun. And with all the computer use now days, it makes operating and
actual entering the contest easy and speedy.
