Comments:
Saturday conditions were great to EU, disappointing on Sunday. I was not able
to get any EU runs going Sunday but did manage a run to JA Sunday afternoon.
The rest of the time was all S&P with a lot of interruptions due to family
obligations.
Just the same, I enjoyed being able to crack some nice pileups using a HOA
restricted 3 element beam at 28 ft - (just below the roof line when driving
by...)
Now I need to really focus on tracking down and curing local noise sources so I
can get on 40 and 80M at the local sunset when the noise is S9+.
This was the first time I used my new KPA-1500 in a contest and I was very happy
with the performance - especially the integration with the K3.
Now I need to accomplish the goal of being on the DX side again.
Thanks for all that heard me in the pileups!
And kudos to K8IA - great score Bob !
