Comments:
Ugh. Got off to a mediocre start, and it went downhill from there -- except for
a nice first hour on 80 meters. On 40, the band went long very early both
nights, eliminating big populations in W1-3 and much of W4 and W8. They were
just ghost signals, popping in and out from the noise floor for a few seconds,
sometimes workable with a lot of effort but often not. Sunday was a mental
struggle, but that's nothing new.
K9RS's new station is coming along great, and I was happy to be in on the first
SS shakedown runs. ThanKS for inviting me, Ray! We were multi as NG3R for CW,
and this weekend was my first single-op phone SS in a while -- maybe the first
ever from the east coast. Looking forward to more!
