Comments:
First contest with new Flex 6600. The station is by no means optimally
"Setup".
N1MM integrated beautifully and the rig played very good in the crowded
conditions.
I still have a lot to learn and integrate into the station. It will be nice when
all the switching (Ant, stubs, etc)and SteppIR tracking gets configured.
Murphy arrived when it was time to go to 40M. DB18 had high SWR on 40M. Probably
moisture in the tubes from the massive storm/rain event we had in NorCal a week
or
so earlier. It did clear up on Sunday, just in time to work a VERY weak VO2AC
for
the sweep. I sure missed all the 40M Q's. I was impressed how well the 80M
inverted
L over a Folded Counterpoise (FCP) worked.
Thanks for the Q's
