Comments:
I still can’t believe we could manage this
Our last contest was WPX SSB and since that we were working very hard to renew
completely our station.All old antennas were taken down Rebuilded and we
installed over 20 „new“ antennas and new TX/RX switching system in last days
and months.
There was no contest preparation we just jumped from finishing setup and
antennas into contest ( it was more or less in last minute)
Station played very well, but there is a space for a lot of fine tuning. Beside
2 small rotator failures there were no technical issues during contest at all.
We all were very tired and except E77EA and me no one of ops stayed full time.
Also we were to less to accomplish contest in the way we did it in years
before.
For me days before contest were very big race with time and wx condition to
finish station b4 contest.
Condx were not bad, but no extremely high rates here 😞
Now is time for rest
