Thanks for the many repeats.
Sorry to those that tried and tried and I couldn't pull you through. Certainly
frustrating at this end and likely your end too. The QRN from the midwest storms
was almost constant. That plus rapid QSB created challenges.
Prop seemed very good. Many loud DX stations. If fact, most DX louder than all
but nearby US stations. EU sunrise brought a nice steady stream of DX. Not sure
I ever recall English stations being so plentiful or loud. But even then the
QSB/QRN made it a challenge.
Worked approximately 56 EU stations including 6 18 pointers. Also in the log one
KH6 and one VK6. Not sure I've worked VK6 in the big contest so a very nice
treat!
Goal was to verify station was working OK and it was. New extended NE beverage
proved worth the effort and the circle array was wonderful to have. All in all a
pretty fun contest.
Equipment:
Anan 7000dle
Alpha 91b
phased 105' towers
several receive antennas
N1MM+. What a wonderful program. Made even better by excellent support! And
free! What a hobby.
