Comments:
My op time was divided into two sessions separated by a lengthy dinner break
with friends at a nearby restaurant. The early session was very productive with
a fairly quiet band. The second session started off well but seemed like
activity died down in proportion to the darn QRN picking up. Top Band from a
small city lot is a challenge. My transmit and receive antenna is a half sloper
off of my tower. When I QRTed at 0600z, I had intentions of getting back on for
the sunrise session. But sleep prevailed and that didn't happen.
Thanks to all the guys who provided repeats as the QRN seemed to always be
loudest during the received exchange.
