Comments:
KPA500 PIN diodes gave out in last week's CQ WW RTTY contest. Tried to use an
old AL80A, but mostly got arcing and smoke. I ended up running most of the
contest barefoot. Out plans to host guests fell through, so I got more operating
time than I expected. I was pleased with the participation from Tuolumne county
this year. I expect some records will be broken!
