Wow, went out to Rocky Flats NWR (between Denver and Boulder) so I could set up
20m EFHW on 32 ft mast, better than home antenna. In middle of high plains,
flat in all directions. For portable logging I tried a QRPworks KeyLogGo with a
keyboard, has memories, Winkeyer, and inserts logged call in exchange, not as
slick as PC logging programs (more keystrokes needed) but was close. Had a few
logging and sending issues for first 7 minutes, sorry to anyone frustrated by my
slow (or lack of) reply. It got better after that :-) Discovered RF made the
sending speed ramp up at random if I tried to change it while a memory was
sending. Will have to put ferrites on the keyboard cable.
A new record QSO total for me, hopefully it will be higher if I go there again
next week now that I know the drill with this little logging/CW unit. Used TT
Eagle @100w, 40AH LiFePO4 battery.

Thanks for all the contacts and the ones that hung in there while I got it
sorted out !!
