Comments:
Operated remote on Saturday and early Sunday morning. Travelled to Gwinnett QTH
and operated in-person Sunday afternoon.
10 hours of operating time is generous. I was on the remote quite a bit but
found little to work. Calling CQ TEST often was left with no answers.
September isn't a great time for a VHF contest on 6m. Chance of E-skip is
virtually nil, and there's not enough sunspots for F2 propagation. Might be more
interesting on 144 or 222 MHz, which a chance of tropospheric phenomena.
This was strictly a "local" contest. I think my furthest grid was
FM08. Heard a lot of other grids briefly, but couldn't work it.
Saw some local guys work a few HC stations, but I never heard them.
I can't complain too much, before FT8 many of my September VHF QSO Party results
would be zero Qs....
