Comments:
The 1900Z session was a game near X-ray level
B1.5 (not enough to satisfy needed contrast
for the medicine men). Well, for us daylight
hours are gone at this time of the year, so
we have to use borrowed electrons (F2-layer).
Actually it was very busy on 14 MHz at the
start, but with 7 MHz settings I commenced
there S/P, spending more than half an hour.
This time I got the FTDX10 stable on 14 MHz
after 1936Z, and there was a good number of
USA-stations audible. Howie N4AF was now up
from the 1300Z session. I guess the C-flare
in daylight weakened the Carolinas earlier.
Geomag is still quiet, but it seems we are in
for a pretty rough Thursday. However, my view
is, that the best Aurora's are hardly ever spot
on in the predictions. Very often the times are
off, or it just does not happen as 'loud' as...
