Comments:
Got up early so we could hold up signs for the grandkids as the bus passed by on
the first day of school.
The band was very attenuated. 559 for the midwest, 579 for the east and a few
of the loudest were 599. Some were SO WEAK. But rate was good at the
beginning, and fell off 49 QSOs at 1315Z. Lots of spots available. By 1345Z
only the weaker guys were left. It dried up at 1355Z. Could W9ILY be any
weaker?
Regardless, it was a good exercise.
