Comments:
Operated from my cabin in the woods north of Spokane: K3 with a 2el tribander up
30ft and a 40/80 dipole up 45ft. Band conditions (SFI=74, A=7, K=3) weren't as
good as last year, and my score was below where it was last year. Even so, had
plenty of fun -- including a nice run on 15m around 4pm.
Biggest mistake of the contest was taking a 28 minute break in the afternoon.
Should have waited a couple more minutes before returning to the radio in order
to have my break count towards the mandated 2hr. Instead, I had to pull the
plug at 10:40pm instead of at 11pm as originally planned.
