That was fun. Had a friend phone at 20:01 and hopped in about 2030.
Earlier in the afternoon- Setup the High-Sierra screwdriver antenna on a railing
up about 15 feet and cut 2 radials about 33 feet long for 40m. Not the beams
(Or dipoles) in the days of yore, but made a few QSOs... wringing out things for
a relaxing NAQP effort this weekend.
20m Had a center-fed zepp thru antenna tuner.
Not sure how well this combination will sustain things this weekend, but for one
thing, it felt great to SO2R - seems like it's been forever.
