Comments:
10 minutes before 1900z and here comes the afternoon thunderstorm. Run out into
garage and disconnect antenna feedlines and six-pak. Then silence--no more
thunder...until 2 minutes before the starting bell when a nearby strike goes off
and house power blinks off and back on a second or two later...a not so subtle
reminder "stay away from the antenna patch panel, Dale". A few more
more distant thunderboomers from then till 1935z when the rain stopped and so
did the thunder. Back out into the garage I reconnect the six-pak and the 20m
feedline, run back into the house into the 'radio' room and reconnect station
power and power-up the computer and K3S. 24 QSOs in 17 minutes. Wheee...fun
ride.
Thanks for the QSOs!
