Comments:
Had lots of stuff going on this week, so it was fun to dive into this contest.
RTTY rocks. This was the first contest with the K4 and it held up very well.
Nice and solid with no surprises. Ran FSK through USB using EXTFSK64 with MMTTY
and it all worked great. Using the internal sound interface on the K4 means that
the only connection needed was USB.
Bands held up pretty well and I was able to work 10 and 15 more than in recent
history, so things are looking up. Got some decent runs on 20 and 40, and not
too bad on 80.
Off times were dictated by mother nature as the thunderstorms had me
disconnected for about 1.5 hours early in the contest. QRN was surprisingly low
when I got back on.
Thanks for all the Qs!
Rick
