Comments:
Hmmmpf. Spoke too soon about the era of good feelng and no CH. See my 13z
report. Had no idea what 19z was like because I was off trying to get my mobile
HF antenna on my car: vy difficult to weld a Tarheel mount to the frame of my
2021 Chevy Traverse because there isn't a frame: it's all uni-body. That's
progress for you (but I have a plan . . .).
Started late. 20 was alive, I must say, but absolutely no one was doing 30wpm
this time. Gator was doing 40+ and won the speed award for the evening, or at
least was the fastest I heard. He didn't hear me, however. I did work an even
dozen S&P, but the slowest I recall was abt 35 or 36. Worked at least three
who were not in CH, but had easy names and states or I recognized Marko despite
38wpm. Oh, well, so much for the lets-all-do-30-and-not-use-CH.
