Comments:
I wasn't able to get everything together for multiple bands this year. Plus I
have a new KW amp for 2m but no amp for 6m yet. So I decided to go 2m
single-band. Mode breakdown (all tropo or meteor scatter):
FT8 43
SSB 19
MSK144 17
CW 3
Q65A 3
I had some problems with FT8 for some long distance tropo qsos: often the
signals were too unstable for FT8 to copy, even when they were easy to see on
the waterfall and hear by ear. Switching to Q65A (either 30 or 15 second
periods) worked much better.
I managed to work my own grid, twice! Not much VHF+ activity around here.
Conditions were fair but nothing exceptional.
