Comments:
At first 14 MHz seemed quiet, but then Bruce K1BG
showed up at 0008Z with a booming signal. Fifteen
minutes later I got to work Tim N3QE. In between
I had weak copy on K4BAI and K1USN. Then I heard
VE7XT with a CQ, but it was interesting to note
that the signal disappeared when the small B-class
X-ray flare started at 0025Z. I switched to 7 MHz.
On the lower band signals were quite good, and
I managed to work Rich K1DJ and Watson K1USN.
I spent quite a bit of time in the pile-ups of
other stations, like W2LCW W3RGA and finally
N4BA, but time ran out according to schedule.
