Comments:
Whoa..high SWR on 40m all of a sudden. It was fine this afternoon. I even ran
outside to check the inverted vee legs; both intact. Bummer. Ring it out in the
morning. 40 was still pretty good, but just didn't feel loud watching that
s-meter. 80 vee was flat, but the band was heavy with static crashes. K5PI
called me and he had to give his call about four times before I got enough of it
through the crashes to put it all together to form K5PI. how sad is that?
Nonetheless, I did extract some fun out of it all. Many thanks for the QSOs.
