Comments:
Nice horserace on the online scoreboard in SO(U)category. Congrats to K1KI, K5ZD
and AA3B.
Lost main 40m beam (XM240 at 83 feet) a few days before test and had to use
backup HyGain 3 el. at 60 feet fixed on Europe for the test. Even in other
directions it did better than a 1/4 wave vertical over 200 radials.
Rig: Pair of upgraded Elecraft K3 transceivers.
Acquired my second KPA1500 amp a few days before test and nice to have auto
bandswitching on both stations.
Antennas: 160m 4 element wire vertical broadside/endfire array for Europe, 325
ft x 146 ft; K3LR parasitic vertical array; Phased Beverages and short RX
vertical arrays.
80m 4 element wire vertical broadside/endfire array for Europe. Inverted vee at
95 feet. Beverages.
40m 3-el HyGain Discoverer at 60 feet, fixed on Europe. 1/4 wave vertical over
160m radial field. Beverages.
20m M Squared 5 over 5 at 41 and 76 feet, fixed on Europe on Tower 5. Stack of 3
HyGain 204BA 4-el yagis on 100 ft Tower 2, bottom two fixed on Europe and top
rotates.
15m Force 12 7-element rotatable at 90 feet on Tower 8. Stack of Wilson 4 el at
100/65 feet on Tower 3.
10m Modified HyGain 105BAS rotatable at 48 feet on Tower 7.
