Comments:
Saturday evening, I spent too much time on 20m looking for mults. Since my
effort was all S&P, I wasn't worried about finding a frequency on 40m. I
didn't notice that there were a lot more contacts available on 40m.
Sunday, the noise levels made me long for a good old phone contest. Every
contact was painful. With every processor on the K3 in full-on mode, the noise
was tolerable - barely, but it caused me to reduce the airtime Sunday. It
seemed that the LP stations were in the mud (not too many 100 watters worked),
so more stations were chasing fewer hearable stations. It must have been really
bad in Europe, when my 600 watts and tribander was often at the noise level
there.
