Comments:
I'm going to borrow word for word from Robert K5PI:
Rules I learned:
1) There's no such thing as a clear frequency in an SSB contest
2) Run frequencies have a limited lifespan when you're running 100W in an SSB
contest. Be prepared to move. See rule 1.
Well said Robert.
Truth is I had never set up my Flex/N1MM station to work with SSB. I had
forgotten how to get my RadioSPort headset to capture the audio N1MM. I finally
kinda got there, sorta. I ended up just not bother with function keys.
Why - see Rules 1 and 2.
One thing I do like about SSB is you get to hear a person's voice and exchange
some quick yet friendly replies. Real humans talking with real humans. There is
a lot to like about that. So I'm going to all ow more time for that.
Tom
