Comments:
Icom IC-735,Heil Pro Micro Headset, VCI VC-300DLP Manual Tuner for 80 meters
only,and a ZS6BKW up 45 feet,running N-S at 6,053 feet elevation. Tough finding
a run freq on 20 at the start! Never heard a soul on 10 or 15 the few times that
I checked.40 was wall to wall stations with several stations calling CQ in my
face after parking a half to one KC away from what was my run frequency! 80
Meters has been quite at this QTH for over ten years, but thanks to a new Air
B&B that was built on the lot next door, I now get to enjoy S-8 noise from
unknown gremlins within that location. Nice to work several of my Grand Mesa
Club Teammates. a special Thank you to Dan, N0HF and Bill,K0UK for helping me
wrangle Team Registration for the very first time. That may have been more
exciting than the contest itself. Hi-Hi! Another "100 Watts and a Wire
Adventure is in the books. Thanks to all that worked me! November Seven Many
