First, thanks to Ian: W6TCP and Gary: NA6O for the use of their fine Remote
Station W6SRR. My first time running solo on a real station. What a difference.
15m was epic. I had a run that lasted about an hour with high rate. I thought it
would go like this for the rest of the contest. I made the mistake of switching
to 20m too early hoping the run will be even more epic. It was so hard for me to
find a whole to run. I tried several times and never could properly run.
Frustrated, I went to lunch with the family and took my first break. Later it
proved to be difficult to run properly again in any lower band, but made up with
lots of mults.
Thanks for the QSOs. It's amazing to see so many people greeting me, some from
the Club and others from CWOps. I had no call sign less than 3 years ago...
