Comments:
Decent band conditions but seemed to be focused on the midwest and West coast.
100% S&P in this contest, still have not taken the plunge at running in a CW
contest. Had to use a CW reader, but 3/4 of my contacts were sent by hand. I do
feel like I am starting to get better on my copying by ear, but still have a way
to go before I can let go of the crutch. There were plenty of stations to work,
and most answered on the first call. I experienced a high noise level on 40 and
160 meters with QSB so tried to focus on 20 & 80 meters. 10 was open to the
Caribbean, worked a couple of ZF stations. Only other DX was Mexico on 20
meters. Many TNX to all who worked me, looking forward to the next time!
