Comments:
The start of the contest was fantastic. Propagation blanketing most of the USA
and down to South America. Lasted until about midnight. Not super strong but
it was there. Saturday and Sunday pretty much had spotlight propagation here
and there.
Poor CX5UA Friday night. N7GP worked him, and then me (N6GP). His head must
have been spinning.
Had fun making QSOs with N7GP, K7PD and K7XC via meteor scatter. They popped in
just long enough for the QSO, then they were gone. My SDR receiver was helpful
in seeing pings from the meteors.
This has been a tradition for me for about 42 years now. Glad we had a taste of
propagation this year, and hope for a great contest next December.
73,
Tim N6GP
