Comments:
Thanks to Ray, W2RE and Remote Ham Radio for my 3rd ARRL 160M with the
W1/Eastport 4-square. This station was good for #1 USA SOHP(U) in 2018
with 452K (as NN2DX) and #1 USA SOHP(U) in 2019 with 659K (as K1A).
But if you want sunspots for the CQWWCW (we got them), the ARRL 160M the
next weekend is going to be slow :) Only 284 EU 5 pointers in the log this
year compared to 492 last year. They may have been there for me, but a big
winter storm right over Eastport, ME kept the noise at S-8 all of Saturday.
Congrats to Craig, K9CT! I chased him for 24 hours but got no closer than 15K
points. The sun rose in EU and I was still 20K points behind him when I shut it
down. I was hoping a rush of EU (that he couldn't hear) would get me by him.
BZZZZZT, it's not going to happen!
The scoreboards are great!! Thanks Victor, VA2WA. That is how you keep the
