Comments:
My target was 2.9 mil. points, in order to beat the old YO record for SO-AB-LP
(non-assisted) category, established by YO3APJ in 2003. I was aware that it will
be difficult due to propagation differences (SFI value was around 170 in
Nov-2003) and due to less multipliers/less DX-peditions available, caused by
COVID-19 travel restrictions.
As seen in my contest summary, I failed to beat the old record, but I still had
a lot of fun. It seems that I needed another 3-4 hours of operation and an extra
50 multipliers.
I enjoyed the pile-up of W-s stations on 15/20m bands and JA-s on 15m band. USA
was well represented with 15% of my QSO-s, then Eu Russia with 10% and Germany
with 5%.
So, cycle 25 shows good signs and we should have more fun in next contests.
Thanks all for calling/answering and see you in next contests.
