Comments:
Chose to do 24-hour, "Classic" class since I don't have the stamina to
do any better! The runs were fun. The QSB was grueling!!! Most ops were very
well-behaved, standing by while the exchange took place. All-in-all, a big
improvement over the distant past.
HOWEVER, there are too many stations with bad key clicks! I've had the pleasure
of finding some clear frequencies to work from (running), and the displeasure of
having somebody park a kHz away with key clicks that were really annoying!
Surely, those owners of "clicky" rigs know of their problem...and most
that I heard were stateside! I believe that along with folks that don't identify
for several minutes, they should receive some form or chastisement! Maybe it's
time for the sponsors of these contests come up with umpires (note, that's with
a "u", not an "e"!).
That said, many thanks to CQ Magazine for the superb contest that WW DX is!!!!
