Comments:
Other activities, including a "must-see" college football game, cut
into my on-air time. But I definitely had fun even though the score isn't all
that great. 99% of the contacts were the result of S&P - could only get a
few responses to CQs.
Multipliers were a real challenge to find and work this year. I never did find a
SD or ND running. It really helped to find them before the packet cluster
pile-ups had developed. Much of the time I felt reasonably loud, especially on
15 and 20 - many compliments on the signal.
Equipment: Yaesu FTdx3000 running 5 watts
Antennas: Cycle 24 TX38 tribander Yagi at 40 feet; inverted vee with apex at 38
feet.
73,
Randy, ND0C
