Comments:
Missed LA, AK, NL, NT, and ONN. No specific goals in mind, other than to get on
and make as many Qs as possible in the time I was able to operate. I usually
don't try running in this contest, but I did give it a try several times this
time. Tried on all the bands I worked but only 160, 40, and 20 registered enough
Qs to give me a rate! Had a nice run going on 40 until I had to break for the
dinner bell. Even had a short run on 160 that surprised the heck out of me. I
was hoping to break 400 Qs towards the end, but I just could not find any new
ones on 80 and, not many people were hearing me on 80 towards the end. CQd for
the last 20 minutes on 80 hand only put a handful in the log.
I did get more comfortable running in a CW contest with a long report to
receive.
Always fun to play in SS. Thanks for the contacts.
Looking forward to CQWW CW and SS phone.
