Comments:
Wow - I never expected this. My modest station performed better than I had any
reason to hope. The Carolina Windom, in particular, did very well, especially
on 80. Any time I finish only 200 Qs behind K3MM is a good one.
A couple of questions - were there any real NT stations in the contest? My
logging software identified 2 as being there, but VE3NZ, for sure, wasn't and
I'm not convinced whether VY1SS was real or someone's idea of a joke. and what
the heck was going on Sunday afternoon on 40? There was a squad of guys sending
low speed CW right above 7050 and calling for "WES." Another group -
a lot of them - was up in the 7100-7120 range, and I never did figure out what
they were trying to prove.
Anyhow, it was fun, The station:
K3/KPA-1500
C-3E at 50 ft
Carolina Windom at about 45 feet
