Comments:
For obvious reasons, we didn't have our usual M/M entry from M6T this year, and
with not much spare time available over the weekend or in the run-up to the
contest, this is just a token entry in the few hours available with what
antennas are half-way working at the moment. I chose to do SOAPLP Classic which
really isn't my thing - but it generates a reasonable score relative to other UK
stations to allow renewal of the special contest call in the UK.
I thought conditions were odd - nice to see the HF bands, and especially 10m, in
much better shape than the past few years, and also strong (I assume sporadic-E)
propagation and great activity from Europe on those bands. But activity from
North America seemed low, and of course, we really missed the multi-ops and
expeditions. DX conditions on 80/160 seemed poor when I was about - very odd not
to hear almost no US on 80 at the end of the contest.
Hope to be on for CW and get some more antennas repaired by then.
K3
Inv-V Dipole for 160/80/40 @ 17m - but partially wrapped up in tree
Broken tri-bander for HF @ 17m - stuck East and with slightly negative
front-to-back on most bands...

Andy, G4PIQ
