Comments:
Mobile/Rover QSOs: K8MR/m - 15, K8RYU/r - 7, N2CU/m - 6.
Chased contacts for SQPC, not counties. Quit at 200 QSOs on Day 1 around 0430Z.
Terrible 75m/80m thunderstorm QRN from upstate NY to deal with all Sat eve.
Limited time Day 2, Sunday, (did not start 'til after 1600Z!) but a great run on
7.230MHz SSB (40 straight QSOs, starting @ 17:43Z) put me near the RI record of
25.5k points (est. in 2015). Pushed ahead to exceed the record but had to
finish about 2 hours before PAQP ended due to another commitment.
Missed BRA, CLI, CRN, LAW, POT and WYO. Got Bonus stns K3MJW (4 Q's) and W8XK
(3 Q's). Short skip on 20m to far WPA never happened for me (all of PA is
between 200-500 miles from me).
Congrats to K2SSS and N8II for amazing Low Power Mixed scores from NY and WV
respectively. Did what I could with 100 watts and wires! Great activity from
"The Keystone" ... TU and 73 from an MGY county native.
Icom IC-7300; 88 ft doublet up about 40 ft, 40m Half Square (low horiz wire at
30 ft) via tuner on 80m, occasional use of low 132 ft OCF dipole on 80/40m, 160m
Inv L. N1MM+, WinKeyer USB CW interface.
