Coil-loaded half-size 20m 2el Yagi, IC-7100, 90 watts, fldigi
Work has been ridiculous this month (with a bunch to do this weekend), and I had
a recent death in the family, so I wasn't really in the mood to do a multi-band
24-hour effort like last year. If this hadn't been RTTY, I probably would have
passed.
Not much DX in the first half, but things picked up and I managed to work all 6
radio continents, something I haven't done in a while. Just 2 EU, but that's
about par for the course. The DX highlight was hearing (but not working) Kenya,
which would have been an ATNO and a new zone! Most distant actually worked was
ZL. I made almost as many QSOs as last year in 8 fewer hours and 3 fewer bands!
Of course the score was far less without the repeated mults on the different
bands. Only 40 minutes of CQing with 9 QSOs, the rest S&P. Another fun
RTTY contest!
Score calculated manually from the fldigi log, so it's probably not quite right.
