Comments:
Thanks for the Qs. Condx seemed good today. Lots of stations and some pretty
strong sigs. Again I split the hour, doing S&P the first half and CQing the
second. That is something like fishing with bait and then switching to a fly rod
and dry flies. Not a perfect analogy but somewhere near the mark.
I made 9 Qs with S&P and 6 CQing. That really doesn't seem much different,
but the two halves of this hour felt quite different. Seemed I did lots and lots
of calling CQ with no one answering, and then one or two guys would call, then
another longish gap. But I know the CQing is good practice, especially with CQP
coming up. This experience reminds me of one I'm sure everyone had in their
youth: someone walks up to you holding a basketball in front of them and says,
"I've got a surprise for you." They he flings the ball at you from
about three feet away, shouting, "Think fast!!!" I'd call it a good
hour today. 73, Larry
