Comments:
Started on 20. Lots of CQs. Nobody was coming back. More CQs. The regular
strong guys were pretty weak. Stayed there until 1925Z, then just could not make
headway. Went to 40 where signals wre better and there were a lot of new guys
becasue the band was opened to a different area than on 20. Tried recalibrating
the SteppIR a couple times. No luck. The inverted vee was still good and the
rate picked up. Whew. This was a rough one; almost one less per minute than
when things are going well.
