Comments:
Thanks to those who have written helpful articles about how to think about this
contest--they help newbies like me a lot. I was operating battery power from a
sailboat anchored in Reid Harbor, Stuart Island, WA (one of the San Juan
islands). It was sunny enough during the day that our solar charger was able to
keep the batteries in good enough shape to run both refrigeration AND be able to
run the rig :-)
