Comments:
Operated from my hilltop cabin next to Loon Lake, WA, using a 2el trap yagi up
30ft on 10/15/20 and wire dipoles on 40, 80, and 160.
Station consisted of my K3S running about 80-90 watts. (My 12VCD power supply
here at the lake tends to choke when asked to support a full 100w output, so I
needed to scale back the output a bit.)
QRN levels seemed much worse on 80 and 160 than last year -- apparently due to
regional thunderstorm activity.
High point of the contest was working an old friend in NH (Bill, AE6JV) on 20,
40 and 80m.
