Comments:
Condx weren't very good. Nevertheless, this was my first venture with SO2R since
getting a concussion in mid-December. I had lots of trouble from the concussion
in the Feb / Mar ARRL events, couldn't remember calls long enough to enter them.
Well that seems to be behind me now, my short term memory is doing well enough
for CW operation. I even spent quite a bit of time doing Dueling CQs in SO2R.
The rate was very low so this was no great challenge for a real SO2R op but I'm
not a real SO2R op, still learning the ropes! So in that regard, the contest was
a big success for me mainly due to the low rates. Even so, there were plenty of
times when I worked callers on both radios back-to-back so I think I can't blame
my lack of skill on the concussion!
Tnx to everyone who worked me and put up with the occasional delays in replying
due to fumble fingered SO2R operating! 73!
