Comments:
I've never paid much attention to this contest, but there seemed to be a lot of
activity. I'm not sure if that's normal or just all of us "Livin' La Vida
Covida."
However, conditions were poor at my QTH. I had lots of trouble working
Europeans. Weak signals and wicked bad QSB, especially on 20m. The easy
exchange compensated for the crummy signals. You had to be alert for a third
letter, but that was easy.
I split my time between this and the Ontario QP, as well as working outside in
the garden on Sunday. We had about 2 inches of snow overnight Friday, but it
all melted by Sunday morning. I'm looking forward to those May flowers and
planting more vegetables.
