>From home station for a change. HF2V and 1KW instead of usual 4/4 on 40 and 4
sq. from N6RO.
Installed new N1MM and it started crashing constantly. Missed first 12 minutes
trying to get it to run. Finally did, but it wouldn't qsy to 80. May have
settled down now. I wonder what was wrong.
100% running, 100% hand-sending. Surprisingly good band conditions and I'm was
quite pleased and surprised at the number of callers I attracted from my small
pistol station. Thanks for putting up with my oh-so-rusty fist. Perhaps the 8
hours in the middle of the night on the second night of ARRL DX CW, where I lost
keying, gave me some practice. I still can't send a "6" reliably
without adding a dot from time to time.
